Kink & Color (21+)
Adults 21 and older: bold, sex-positive coloring books in heterosexual, queer man, and queer woman editions.
Kink & Color: More Than Coloring
Kink & Color was born during a season of depression.
During the pandemic, my depression touched every part of me, including intimacy. My body stopped responding in ways I was accustomed to, and that concerned me. I was young, and I knew something wasn't right for me. I even spoke with my doctor because I wanted to understand what I was experiencing.
I've always loved coloring. It helped me relax and escape for a moment, but during that season, I wanted something different. Something grown, expressive, sensual, and stimulating.
I didn't want to color children's pictures. I wanted something that spoke to the adult woman I was, including a part of myself I was struggling to reconnect with.
When I couldn't find what I was looking for, I created it.
That's how Kink & Color began.
I believe sexuality is a natural part of the human experience. There is nothing inherently dirty or shameful about being a sexual person, exploring your desires, or wanting to feel connected to your body.
For me, these books became another way to embrace creativity, self-expression, and the parts of myself that depression had affected.
How the Collection Grew: Love, Friendship & Representation
The first Kink & Color edition reflected my own experience as a heterosexual woman. But I knew the collection could be more.
One of my dearest friends, Shakia, was a queer woman who was so much more than a friend to me. She was my sister friend, my cheerleader, and someone who genuinely believed in me and supported the things I created.
I wanted her to feel represented, too.
So, while Shakia was still here with us, I created the Queer Woman edition with her in mind.
And one of the things I'm most grateful for is that she got to see it.
Shakia is no longer physically here with us, and she didn't get to see everything the collection would eventually grow into. But she was here for a meaningful part of its beginning, and that will always matter to me.
As the collection continued to grow, I thought about the queer men in my family, my friendships, and my life. I couldn't celebrate and represent the queer women I love without also creating space for the queer men who matter to me.
That's how the Queer Man edition became part of the collection.
I'm a proud ally of the queer community, and I want that support to be reflected in more than words.
Every edition has a reason. Every book means something.
These weren't created simply to add another product to a collection. They were created with intention, personal connection, and the belief that everyone deserves to feel seen, celebrated, and included.
What I Hope You Take Away
I live with ADHD. I've experienced depression, and I still navigate seasons of life that require me to find new ways to care for myself.
I share my experiences not to diagnose anyone or suggest that a coloring book can fix what someone is going through. I share them because I'm human, and I know how meaningful it can be to discover even one small thing that brings you joy, comfort, or connection.
Kink & Color isn't therapy or medical treatment. It's a creative outlet that can complement the care, relationships, and support systems that work for you.
Whether you color to unwind, explore your sensuality, laugh, reconnect with yourself, or simply enjoy a little grown-up creativity, I hope you feel comfortable making these pages your own.
There is room for creativity, sexuality, wellness, and self-expression to exist together.
With love,
